A part of the work of EPC concentrates upon the activities in the area of the European integration. On this occasion, EPC should be strengthened and promoted the communication between the different members by EPC and the public. New ways should be opened which determine important actions and EPC works on solutions for a better union. There are three different programmes, which were sketched for the work by EPC; they should show the aims of the work of EPC. On this occasion, flexibility is very important to promote rapid developments.
The three programmes of EPC deal with the main problems of the EU: – EU Integration and Citizenship, Europe’s Political Economy and Europe in the World. Each of the programmes deals with different main topics of the problems about forums, special commissions and projects.
The forums offer a platform for steady discussions and special commissions and projects should reflect progressive changes and developments in economic and political areas.
About EU Integration and Citizenship: – This programme deals with the bases of the EU and with the possible views and results of actions. Also EPC comes on other enlargement and looks for suitable answers to the political demands in the area of the growth – of the multicultural society in Europe – also to solve the citizenship problems for the European economy.
About Europe’s Political Economy – This programme concentrates upon all necessary measures in the area of Climate change and economy. Economic and social models should be adapted to the challenges and should be supported with lasting effect.
About Europe in the World – This programme is supported by the “Gulbenkian” endowment and deals with the growing activity of the EU in international matters. EPC also deals with questions of the security, human rights, justice, etc. in the respect of the EU with neighbourhood countries and Asia.
